Ziad - London Fashion Week AW 13

The Ziad show is always a firm favourite at London fashion week
providing an off the wall, colourful break from commercial designers.
The cast of the show, as in previous seasons, was a wild mix of body
shapes, ages and genders - crossing the lines of accepting fashion
figures and adding a element of realism to the otherwise surreal
The collection based around the film "An American in Paris" was fantastically
colourful, painted circus faces and barouque style detailing that all
added to the wildly dramatic show.
Satin and silks bunched below corsets - lace layered prints in a
variety of tones. One jacket in the style of a matador graced the
catwalk and models swept through and swung their skirts to add to the
drama of the show. Oversized bow ties and structured shoulders
accessorized the collection and tied the variety of shapes and colours
The make up was incredible - white faces featured wither feather
splashes of rainbow colours or server black and purble contouring and
wide, deep smokey eyes.
A beautiful contribution to the London Fashion Week schedule.
