29th October 2011 – Fashion Philosophy Fashion Week Poland - PTASZEK

The Ptaszek collection pushed menswear boundaries a little bit this season, managing to look wearable the designer managed to slip in oversized tops that were effectively shift dresses as well as a few men in skirts. Studded trousers added some rock and roll while sequins and snake print retained the glamour that surrounds this week. Tartan jackets and trousers with studs were a tad punk and this was added to with oversized safety pins holding in place the wrapped kilt skirts.
Damask prints and lace were worn over skin tight leggings some under shorts, with mixed prints including antique florals, gingham and animal. Shoes featured the florals with fabric that looked very carpet bag. Sheer leggings were printed and worn under shorts and we even saw a pair of paper bag top trousers. The whole collection was a bit on the gay side but... this is fashion and it was an enjoyable show.
