28th October 2011 – Fashion Philosophy Fashion Week Poland - Bohoboco

Whizzing back stage after discovering various shortcuts I see the Bohoboco collection being prepped and ready to hit the catwalk, being introduced to the harassed looking designers it’s interesting to see the collection close up – it’s so much easier to appreciate when it’s less than a metre away and not being galloped down the runway.
A slight error with inexperienced models meant that this collection flew up and down the runway and I felt this meant it was not perhaps as prominent as it should have been.
The collection opens with white and tan multi length skirts and features plastic disc embellishment looking a little retro yet the clean colours giving the collection a futuristic, clinical edge.
Maxi dress featured sheer fabric, gentle pleats, waterfall fabric ties and high, risky, front splits. Casual tailoring also took to the catwalk as well as intricate crochet work staying feminine. Towards the end of the collection colours changed from the white and tan to grey, black and white, retaining the clinical edge but also looking quite classic.
I loved this collection with its sheer elements, artful draping and water falling fabric ties. The trailing maxis, cinched waists, flowing fabrics and sheer knit all looked divinely womanly.
