The Hexeline show opens with a video… of alpacas. It’s a pretty funny video set to some very epic music!
The first outfit is a gorgeous quilted gold jacket with a huge fur collar. The show continues with tan skin coats lined and collared with shaggy fur, tassels bouncing along on the runway. The chunky cable knit is trimmed with fur and stands slightly away from the body enlarging the silhouette and contrasting with skin tight trousers. The dresses on the catwalk are very classic shapes with skirts sitting just above the knee. There was another appearance of fur bibs; sitting like a lion’s mane these look great!

The collection moves from browns to black and gold exposed gold zips used to accessorize the garments. A gray aviator jacket was a definite favourite and the collection moved to a more androgynous theme with shirts, skintight leather trousers, high waists and trilby hats.
Party wear begins with metallic satin jewel coloured dresses in blue, deep purple and bronze. Dresses are bandage layered and folded. The last outfits were black hotpants with sheer black overskirts on the knee with a jacket and also maxi with a leather boob tube.
This collection was wholly enjoyable, ready to wear but also different enough to own the catwalk. Gorgeous show.

Another show now.... and another vodka mixer.
