Day 2 – An evening out.

I think its fair to say that the french and the english differ substantially when it comes to a night on the town. After hearing various recomendations we head to Buddha Bar, on a little side street off Champ De Ellyses – the street is empty and quiet with looming hotels and restaruants either side. We find Buddha Bar and head down stairs to the bar overlooking a jam packed restaurant. After finding a nice cosy spot and realising there is NO DANCEFLOOR(!!!) we look at the menu. Cheapest cocktail 16€. So the description of ‘a little pricey’ exceeds expectations. After savouring the gorgeous drink we head back to Republique near our hotel where we have been told there are some great bars and restaurants. We end up in another expensive bar/cafe/restaurant stuffing our faces and wondering where the hell the French go to party. Ah well, in the ‘supermarche’ earlier we picked up a cheeky bottle of vodka – im sure that bad boy will see us through.
