Masha Ma AW11

Masha Ma’s collection was a sophisitated mix of sexy tailoring and flirtatious ruffles making for a womanly collection. The colour pallette was basic in white and grey with sudden gorgeous flashes of red. Some of the collection seemed to be slightly deconstructed with misplaced armholes and collars – enforcing the upcycling trend that seems to be spreading over our recession struck nation.
High collars, cinched waists with ruffled bustles and padded shoulders were the main appearance. The lack of prints and over the top embelishment was a refreshing and welcome change! Not one to miss out on trend, leather still featured in jackets and skirts and the tailoring was also bang on for next winter.
