LFW 18th Feb 2011 - Aminaka Wilmont

Catwalk report:
Aminaka Wilmont opened the show with assymetric skirted dresses in a mish mash of monochrome prints. The prints them selves ranged between black and white polkas, marblised muted tones and a mixture of the two. The colours were muted with brown tones, reds, grey and creams. There was a huge amount of artful draping and wrapping of the light fluid fabrics and waterfall jackets made a big appearance in grey wool, sheep skin and leather. Trousers were high waisted with skinny belts with long sleeved loose satin tops tucked in. The draping continues and provides incredibly flattering shapes but in slightly unsightly fabrics (if your not a model). There were flashes of fur, sheep skin and a stunning feather and fur cape with pheasant feathers trailing from the back.  The show was acessorised with elbow length fingerless grey wool gloves, scarves and black leather wedges.  Towards the end of the show embellishment was added to garments with silver diamante, padded accentuated shoulders and half maxi dresses, short at the front and long at the back with an assymetric hemline at the front. The cowlneck draping and prints were stunning and this was overall a fantastic collection.
Much Love
Jemima Daisy
